For us, processing your payment requires the least administrative and personnel resources if you set up a standing order in your bank's e-banking system. This allows you to conveniently define whether you want to transfer your contribution every six months, quarterly or monthly.

More than a third of our champions are already using this option.

Preparation

• Account information: Make sure you have all the relevant information to hand, such as the amount you want to transfer regularly, the recipient (name and IBAN) and the purpose of the transfer.

Login to your bank's online e-banking

• Login: Log in to your bank's online banking area. You will usually need your user name and password, and possibly also an additional security measure such as two-factor authentication (e.g. by text message or via an app).

Set up a recurring donation

• Open menu: In online banking, search for the option to create a standing order. You will often find this under terms such as "Payments", "Standing orders", "Transfers" or "Recurring payments".

• Create new standing order: Select the option "Create new standing order" or a similar formulation.

Enter details of the standing order

• Recipient details: Enter the recipient's bank details, in particular:

  • Name of the recipient

  • IBAN (International Bank Account Number) of the recipient

  • BIC/SWIFT (required for international transfers)

• Amount: Enter the amount that should be transferred regularly.

• Repetition interval: Select the interval at which the payments are to be repeated:

  • Daily

  • Weekly

  • Monthly

  • Annually

  • User-defined intervals (e.g. every second month)

• Start date: Enter the date from which the standing order is to be executed.

• End date (optional): If the standing order is to end after a certain time, also enter an end date. Otherwise, the standing order can run indefinitely.

• Intended use: Enter an intended use, such as "ena for free disposal", "ena fund", "Social Impact Fund" or similar.

Verification and confirmation

• Check: Be sure to check all data entered carefully to avoid errors.

• Confirmation: Confirm the details. In many cases, you will have to carry out a security check, e.g. by entering a TAN code or via a confirmation in the banking app.

Save and complete standing order

• Save: If all the details are correct, save the standing order. Your bank should show you a confirmation of the setup.

• Receive confirmation: You may also receive an e-mail or text message confirming that the standing order has been set up.

Check and change standing order

• Check: In the following days or weeks, check whether the payments have been made as requested. You can usually see this in the transaction area of your online banking.

• Change or cancel: If the amount, the recipient or the interval changes, you can edit or cancel the standing order at any time.

Alternative: Set up a standing order at the counter
