An earthquake in Myanmar. Violence in Sudan. A hunger crisis in Yemen. Or silent suffering in regions that hardly anyone talks about. The world is full of disasters—some visible, others overlooked. And caught in the middle: people who lose everything from one moment to the next.
ena provides humanitarian aid when lives are thrown off balance. We act quickly, thoughtfully, and effectively—even in places where the media has long since turned its attention elsewhere. Thanks to a network of experienced local and international partners, we are on the ground in no time. We stay when the spotlight moves on. And we provide what people need most urgently: water, food, medical care, and sometimes simply a safe place.
With your donation to emergency relief, you’re helping right where hope begins. Not in the abstract, but in concrete terms. For today and for tomorrow.
Our partners are ready. In the first few hours after a disaster, we deliver urgently needed supplies such as clean water, food, and medical care. Every day counts.
We provide assistance wherever people are suffering, regardless of their background, religion, or political situation. Our work adheres to recognized standards and is guided by a spirit of humanity.
For us, emergency aid doesn’t end when the media stops covering the story. We continue to support people—through reconstruction, in coping with trauma, and on their path to a new sense of stability.
Your donation to our emergency relief fund will be put to good use. We work efficiently, keep administrative costs to a minimum, and maximize our impact.
Not every disaster makes the news. But every tragedy deserves attention. That is why ena focuses its disaster relief efforts specifically on places that receive little attention: in Sudan, where hunger and conflict threaten people’s lives; or in Myanmar, where Rohingya families and the local population are struggling to survive under precarious conditions.
It is precisely this silent suffering that calls for a sensitive response. Our emergency aid focuses on what people truly need: clean water, medical care, safe places, and access to education. This is made possible by our presence on the ground, through trusting partnerships with local organizations, and through our commitment to look where others turn away.
Half a croissant a day—that’s all it takes to make a big difference. With a recurring donation, you enable us not only to respond quickly to disasters but also to provide long-term support in forgotten crisis regions. Just CHF 30 a month is enough to maintain a continuous presence on the ground, keep schools open, or provide medical services.
Change takes time and consistency. Your regular support gives us the flexibility to think beyond the immediate moment—in terms of resilience, education, and stability. And you remain in control at all times. You can adjust your donation at any time.
In eastern Congo, water is pumped from Lake Kivu or other suitable reservoirs, treated with chlorine, and tested for quality. This helps prevent epidemics such as cholera.
This aid gives the people of Myanmar a measure of independence and dignity in the midst of the crisis.
In Yemen, sanitary latrines are being built close to homes together with families in need. This also makes women feel safe when using them.
Emergency aid means being there—at the right moment, with the right support. It saves lives, alleviates hunger, and eases pain. Above all, it brings hope to places where it has almost been lost.
